Making music is all very good, but it's not so great for paying the bills. So until I get the chance to sell out and go commercial, I'm also working in videogame development.
I've worked on a whole heap of titles over the years, some you may have heard of, and some you hopefully won't. From the highly original Music2000 for PlayStation, to working with gaming legends like Pac-Man, there's been some good stuff in there. One of the recent projects I was involved with was the Xbox360 Live Arcade game "PowerUp Forever". I created the original concept for the game, and worked on the early design and prototype code. The game was released on the 10th December 2008, and has received some great feedback. I also contributed to the soundtrack, so as often happens, there was a little crossover between work and music there.
At the end of 2007 I moved from the UK over to Germany, and started work at Keen Games, where I'm working a film licence game for one of the industry's biggest publishers.
